Bird Nettings (bird netts) are used specifically to keep birds away from an area. The various uses of bird nettingsa are:
To keep birds away from bird damage of vegetable, seedlings and fruit crops. Some species of birds peck at fruits and cause great damages to a large number of what would otherwise be commercially viable fruits.
Birds can be kept away from fish farms or wildlife fish reserves through the use of bird nets over a water body.
Used to “bird proof” buildings or open space (like food canteen where birds peck or eat food remains), bird nettings are useless to cordon open areas to deny access to birds.
